Tito to marry in 2012


Los Angeles,- Mikail Mohammed alias Michael Jackson's brother Tito
Jackson is getting married to his long-term girlfriend Sonia
Galindo next year.
The Jackson 5 star was so moved when he attended the
London premiere of David Gest's documentary 'Michael Jackson:
The Life Of An Icon' earlier this month that he telephoned his
girlfriend Galindo and popped the question, and she excitedly
said "yes", reported MTV online.
The film focuses on the King of Pop's incredible life
from his beginnings with the Jackson 5 through to his death in
June 2009 and seeing his brother's tragic end on the big
screen inspired Tito, 58, to make the spontaneous proposal. Jakson was embraced ISLAM before his death.

Dog rewarded for keeping man,
girl warm in overturned car
    Sapporo, -It is said that man's best friend is
a dog. Now, a Labrador Retriever in Japan has proved it right.
    The government of the town of Naie, Hokkaido, has awarded
Junior, a 7-year-old male Labrador Retriever for keeping his
81-year-old master and his 3-year-old granddaughter warm in
an overturned car during a freezing night last week.
     Junior was given a collar with a gold medal and some dog
food during an award ceremony held in the northern Japanese
town yesterday, Kyodo news agency reported.
     The owner, Yoshimasa Soma, took his granddaughter Sukai
Kimura and Junior in his car from his home in Naie on the
evening of November 15, saying he would walk the dog.
     The car was later found lying on its side the following
morning on a riverbed several meters below a road in the
neighbouring town of Urausu.
     Police officers found Junior cuddling up to the girl and
licking her cheek in the car.
     The man and the girl suffered only minor frostbite on
their feet despite temperatures below zero outside and with
the window of the car broken, the report said.

Bodyguard's director Siddique finds next project
Kolkata,-Siddique, who directed Salman Khan
in 'Bodyguard', has signed his next film for producers Shyam
Bajaj and Narendra Bajaj.
Last year when the Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor
starrer 'Bodyguard' was being shot, Bajaj who was looking for
a good director and had enquired about Siddique.
"I asked Salman about Siddique and since he was happy
the way 'Bodyguard' was shaping up, he told me I should work
with him," said Bajaj.
Post the huge success of 'Bodyguard', Siddique had
offers from almost every banner possible but since this was a
commitment made even before his debut film's release he kept
his word and told all the producers that he would first fulfil
his prior commitment of making the film with the Bajajs and
then may consider other offers.
"It was nice of Salman to recommend me to them, I
immediately agreed. I also had to keep my word and I am happy
that I will be directing a film for them. There is no doubt
that it will be a commercial entertainer," said Siddique,
known for his comedy films in Malayalam cinema.


Woman gangraped, Rajesh and Gopi arrested
New Delhi,-A young woman hailing from
Maharashtra was raped allegedly by two youths in a South Delhi
guest house today.
Rajesh and Gopi were arrested in connection with the
incident, police said.
The victim, in her early twenties, had run away from
Mumbai to Delhi in search of a job, a senior police official
said.
"The girl was spotted by the duo at Nizamuddin railway
station and they promised to arrange a job for her. They took
her to a South Delhi guest house in Nizamuddin where they
allegedly raped her," the official said.
The incident came to light when the girl approached
police and filed a complaint. She was taken to a hospital
where a medical examination confirmed rape.
Following this, a case was registered against Rajesh and
Gopi.
